Galería Artevistas and BCNewt Coworking collaborate to present the works of the French artist Corentin de Penanster.
After having exhibited his works in Paris and Lausanne, Corentin now arrives in Barcelona with an unpublished collection.Portraits of icons of culture, such as Rossy de Palma, Martirio, Carmen Miranda, Lola Flores, but also international characters such as Frida Kahlo, Björk and David Bowie. All made by hand, with cuttings from magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Bazar, Elle, Hello !, among others.
“I love faces and portraits, the range of facets of the human being, that’s why I have developed each piece with fragments of different faces united in the same recognizable image,” says the artist.
The works will be exhibited until June 30 in the BCNewt Coworking space.
