Toni Riera
Toni Riera
Toni Riera has worked in advertising and fashion, and has also created photographic reports around the world. His first stroke of inspiration came while some French filmmakers were shooting More in Ibiza, a film about the emerging hippie movement, free love, and drugs—topics that were, at the time, taboo in Spain and many other countries, scandalizing the public with their depiction of sexual freedom and nudity.
Toni has since become the emblematic photographer of Ibiza. The iconic cherries of the Pachá nightclub are a recurring symbol in his work, and he often incorporates them into his shots, making them synonymous with the island itself.
