Bernard states: “Four years of photography studies in the prestigious «École des Arts appliqués de Vevey» (Switzerland) have taught me the meaning of rigour and accuracy. This know-how naturally oriented me to fashion and advertising shootings. I have been working with numerous magazines and communication agencies for over 25 years.”
Part of his work is about is influenced by 18th century paintings, Tartinville’s richly-layered and sumptuous photography recalls the decadence and excess of Marie Antoinette. In fact, you could easily mistake his work with Rococo portraiture.
