Exhibition in our new Artevistas gallery : Barra de Ferro, 8 – In front of the Picasso Museum

“DeTRASH by Picasso” is my dedication and tribute on the 50th anniversary of the death of Pablo Picasso, my favorite artist of all time. His eclectic work continues to inspire me every time I look at it. What impressed me most was his audacity to confront  a blank canvas, launching himself into the void with an astonishing assurance, typical of a master of creativity with impeccable technique. This instinctive and courageous form of expression has guided me for years, helping me overcome creative fear and frustration.

In 2009, this artistic security came to me out of the blue, in a pile of garbage. Since then, I have lost forever the fear of expressing myself in any type of medium, without worrying about failure and what other people say.

“DeTRASH by Picasso” es mi dedicatoria y homenaje en el 50 aniversario de la muerte de Pablo Picasso, mi artista favorito de todos los tiempos. Su trabajo ecléctico continúa inspirándome cada vez que lo miro. Lo que más me impresionó fue su audacia para enfrentarse a un lienzo en blanco, lanzándose al vacío con una seguridad asombrosa, propia de un maestro de la creatividad con una técnica impecable. Esta forma de expresión instintiva y valiente me ha guiado durante años, ayudándome a superar el miedo creativo y la frustración.

En 2009, esta seguridad artística me llegó de la nada, en un montón de basura. Desde entonces, perdí para siempre el miedo a expresarme en cualquier tipo de medio, sin preocuparme por el fracaso y el qué dirán los demás.
