TOTEMISMS
System of beliefs and social organization based on a totem.
The totem is a supernatural object, being or animal, which some cultures take as an emblem of the tribe and/or as a religious icon. One of the main features focuses on the worship of animals, fantastic creatures and plants.
With this exhibition, Peta Rodríguez includes animals and mystical beings that escape from the totem to be represented in his works. His figures come to life to be worshiped in a new space.

Sistema de creencias y organización social basado en un tótem.
El tótem es un objeto, ser o animal sobrenatural, que algunas culturas toman como emblema de la tribu y/o como icono religioso. Una de las características principales se centra en el culto a los animales, criaturas fantásticas y plantas.
Peta Rodríguez incluye con esta exposición animales y seres místicos que escapan del tótem para ser representados en sus obras. Sus figuras cobran vida para ser adoradas en un nuevo espacio.
