In this exhibition, Akore breaks the rules again, bringing elements from the streets, contextualizing us with his characteristic Afrocolor work. Urban objects, scattered, alien lost in the melancholic labyrinth of the city but found for this exhibition, in an imagined artwork that goes beyond improvisation; a disturbing dream that connects Street Art with the delicacy of finding beauty where it no longer exists, where others do not perceive it, and inviting us to reflect on it. Urban art at its best, ephemeral, magic, and – of course – always subversive.
During the Opening we will also enjoy the live performance of singer Marga Mbande, artist of African blood and Equatorial Guinean origin, who after a long trajectory on the stages in our country, presents her new album Mbande Sound.
