Rest in filth, R.I.F. – Filthy Freak
In a world where overproduction and waste have become the norm, the exhibition Rest In Filth seeks to venture beyond the ordinary, the strange, and the disturbing, to question: what colors and materials make up this hell?
Using everyday elements, the artist creates something unexpected, transforming the primitive form of these day-to-day objects to provoke a unique reflection for each viewer. It is clear that hell is the world of the dead, where skulls float within and confront us with our own mortality, reminding us that life and death are intrinsically intertwined. These objects become visual metaphors for our own obsessions and fears. Like the Skulls, his emblem as a street artist. These aim to evoke the macabre, but also what we cannot stop thinking about: the inevitable death.
Rest In Filth explores the beauty in the grotesque and finds life in the discarded. Each piece of the exhibition has its own voice, revealing how in the disposable and the forgotten lies a universe of possibilities; in a new hell. Creativity resurrects what has been lost, granting a new purpose to the finite.

En un mundo donde la sobreproducción y el desperdicio se han convertido en la norma, la exposición Rest In Filth busca ir fuera de lo cotidiano, lo extraño y lo perturbador, para cuestionarnos: ¿de qué colores y materiales es ese infierno?
Utilizando elementos cotidianos, el artista crea algo inesperado, transformando la forma primitiva de estos objetos del día a día para provocar una reflexión única para cada espectador. Está claro que el infierno es el mundo de los cadáveres, donde las calaveras flotan en él y nos enfrentan a nuestra propia mortalidad, recordándonos que la vida y la muerte están intrínsecamente entrelazadas. Estos objetos se convierten en metáforas visuales de nuestras propias obsesiones y miedos. Como las Skulls, su emblema como “street artist”. Estas mismas buscan evocar aquello macabro, pero de lo que no podemos dejar de pensar: la inevitable muerte.
Rest In Filth explora la belleza en lo grotesco y encuentra vida en lo desechado. Cada pieza de la exposición tiene su propia voz, revelando cómo en lo desechable y lo olvidado yace un universo de posibilidades; en un nuevo infierno. La creatividad resucita lo que se ha perdido, otorgando un nuevo propósito a lo finito.
